SPECIAL ADVISORY - BRUSH FIRE SEASON Please use extreme caution when burning brush or yard debris. Weather conditions are very dry, which can cause a burn pile to race out of control very quickly. When burning, always clear an area 10'-15' around the burn site, have a means of communications with you at all times (cell or portable phone), never light a fire in windy conditions, keep water handy, and make sure that all coals are completely out before leaving the burn site. |

MVA ON SPOOK ROCK RD Rescue 12-9 and Engine 12-1 responded to a two car accident today on Spook Rock Rd in front of the Brookwood Secure Center. Crews assisted EMS on scene and provided traffic control for approximately 30 minutes while the scene was being cleared. Click here for photos.

MUTUAL AID TO MELLENVILLE February 17, 2008 just after 8:00AM, units were dispatched to assist Mellenville Fire Company with a structure fire. The initial call was for Engine 12-1 and Tanker 12-6 to respond to the scene. Rescue 12-9 was called soon after, to provide additional support. Click here for photos.
