PHOTOS: Open House and Dedication An open house and dedication of the new station was held Saturday, May 5th, 2012. Firefighters from A.B. Shaw and surrounding companies joined dignitaries and guests to formally dedicate and open the new station. Our thanks to those who attended! Click HERE for photos of the event! REMINDER: Brush Burning Ban New York State's annual moratorium on outdoor burning begins March 16th and lasts until May 14th. This is an annual event that took effect in 2009. For additional information, visit the State DEC website. NEW FIREHOUSE: We're in! A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday December 13, 2011 officially opening the new station.
