MUTUAL AID TO MELLENVILLE

February 17, 2008 just after 8:00AM, units were dispatched to assist Mellenville Fire Company with a structure fire. The initial call was for Engine 12-1 and Tanker 12-6 to respond to the scene. Rescue 12-9 was called soon after, to provide additional support. Click here for photos.

ELECTION RESULTS

Results of the 2008 election of officers are in. We thank all those who have agreed to accept this great responsibility and look forward to another successful year. Special thanks to out-going Chief Ned Keeler for his years of hard work and sacrifice. Your leadership and dedication is very much appreciated.

SPECIAL SAFETY NOTICE - Keep Hydrants Clear of Snow

We are asking for assistance from the residents and businesses of Claverack with clearing fire hydrants of snow. If there is a hydrant on or near your property, please shovel it out so that it is clear on all sides. Locating and clearing snow buried fire hydrants during an emergency can cost precious moments... moments needed to save lives and property from the ravages of fire.
