Residential Structure Fire - Route 9H/23

Units responded to reports of a working house fire. When 1st Assistant Chief Cozzolino arrived shortly after the dispatch, he found heavy smoke and flames showing from a single story ranch. The fire had a pretty good jump. Engine 12-1 arrived with a full crew and initiated an interior attack. Mutual aid was summoned from Mellenville, Churchtown and Greenport fire companies. Greenport Rescue Squad paramedics provided medical monitoring and rehab.
